In 1960, Palmeri recognized a need in the community and realized that the experience of safe driving, maintenance and scheduling could help service the community. Palmeri began shuttling children to and from school and to and from extra-curricular activities.

Route by route, the Palmeri fleet has grown. Today, we operate several dozen buses in several area school districts. The Palmeri difference is the concern we have for the children we drive. In fact, our drivers fell like they're taking their own kids to school, and they drive with the same caution.

Every one of our school bus drivers is licensed with a commercial driver's license and state school bus license. We continue to train our drivers with regular safety training and driver education programs.

And as required by the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission and the Interstate Commerce Commission, each of our drivers takes part in a continuing drug testing program.

The results of the Palmeri commitment to quality service are clear. Palmeri was honored with the Golden Merit Safety Award for them National School Transportation Association, one of only five such distinctions awarded each year in the United States.
